Over 20 years of monitoring and support for innovative companies
TKM was born from a simple question. In complex environments, where innovation is a competition played out on a global scale, where the volume of data continues to grow, how can we quickly detect the right information at the right time?
To answer this question, TKM has developed proprietary software technology based on artificial intelligence that allows for the collection, sorting, filtering, and analysis of all literature. This enables us to make this technology available to the innovation, R&D, and intellectual property teams of companies of all sizes.
TKM, a French player in deep tech, is proud to export its strategic expertise all over the world today.
2004 - Creation of TKM
Creation of TKM – Technology Knowledge Metrix – spun off from a joint research laboratory at Grenoble Alpes University and INRA.
2008 - First thesis on NLP (Natural Language Processing)
Première thèse CIFRE avec l’Université Grenoble Alpes. Suivront quatre nouvelles thèses, ainsi que de nombreux partenariats de recherche avec le CEA, le CNRS, l’INRIA ou encore HEC et Polytechnique Montréal.
2012 - Launch of the IPMetrix monitoring software
Marketing of IPMetrix monitoring software for independent use by its customers.
2014 - Software evolution and SaaS model
New strategic milestone: IPMetrix, available in SaaS mode, integrates new research and analysis functions.
2015 - Launch of the IZINOV offer
Launch of the Izinov offer: a simple, fast and accessible online monitoring tool, particularly useful for SMEs and start-ups.
2018 - Subsidiary in Canada (Montreal)
TKM crosses the Atlantic to open a subsidiary in Canada (Montreal) and forms strategic partnerships with HEC and Polytechnique Montréal
2022 - CSR Roadmap
TKM's commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility has strengthened over the years, notably with its membership in the Business Climate Convention and the implementation of an ambitious environmental roadmap to 2030.
2024 - 20 years and a new identity!
TKM is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is giving itself a new graphic identity to beautifully write the rest of its story.
2026 - Launch of the TKM platform

- A second center of scientific excellence composed of engineers and PhDs in life sciences, materials, energy and geosciences, to support our clients in their most complex monitoring issues.

Our roadmap for the years to come is structured around three major axes:
